# Buunto — Date & Time Slot for Shopify

> Buunto is a Shopify app that lets customers schedule their delivery, pickup, or shipping when placing an order. Merchants configure their availability, and customers choose a date and time slot that works for them.

## What Buunto does

Buunto adds a date and time picker widget to Shopify stores. It supports three delivery methods: local delivery, store pickup, and shipping. The widget can be displayed on the product page, cart page, or cart drawer, and automatically adapts to the store's branding.

Merchants define their availability using recurring weekly schedules, block holidays, or add one-off dates. They can set order limits per day and per time slot, configure cut-off times and preparation times per delivery method, product, or location.

When a customer places an order, the selected date and time are attached to the Shopify order as tags and line item properties. Staff receive email notifications, and the information appears on order confirmation emails, POS receipts, and the Shopify admin order screen.

## Checkout delivery options sync

Buunto can sync the customer's delivery selection directly to the Shopify checkout shipping method. The shipping option is automatically renamed to show the delivery date and time (e.g., "Local delivery (Thursday 19 February, 9am – 10am)"). This feature works on all Shopify plans, including Basic.
