Charge the right local delivery price for every postcode

Delivering a few streets away doesn’t cost the same as driving to the edge of your delivery zone. But if every customer sees the same local delivery price, you either absorb the extra cost of longer journeys or overcharge the people closest to you.

Buunto now lets you give each postcode-based delivery area its own price at Shopify checkout.

Different prices for different parts of your delivery zone

You can divide the area served by one local delivery location into smaller postcode groups. A bakery might charge £5 for deliveries in the town centre and £10 for surrounding villages, without creating extra locations or changing how customers book a date.

You only need separate prices for the areas where your delivery cost changes. Everywhere else can continue using your usual local delivery rate.

Your customer automatically sees the right option

When a customer enters their postcode, Buunto identifies their delivery area before showing the dates and times available to them. Their selection then follows them to checkout, where the matching delivery price is shown automatically.

Instead of choosing between several similar rates, they see one clear option with their delivery area, date, and time:

Local delivery - Outer zone (Friday 7 August, 11am - 12pm) - £10.00

The rates for your other delivery areas are hidden. That means less confusion at checkout and no risk of a customer accidentally choosing a cheaper price meant for another postcode.
